C.A.R.E. NETWORK
CHILDBIRTH ASSISTANCE, RESOURCES, AND EDUCATION
Who are the members of the C.A.R.E. Network?
A member of the C.A.R.E. Network is one who is either:
- actively working to serve women and
families in the childbearing year in any one of a number of capacities
(i.e. doula, midwife, lactation specialist, massage therapist, chiropractor,
etc.)
- or -
- someone interested in the support
of women/families in the childbearing year through support of the
C.A.R.E. Network membership.
Rights and Privileges
C.A.R.E. Network meetings are open to anyone, but membership privileges
include the right to vote during annual elections and to participate
where other matters are taken to consensus or vote. Members also have
the right to have their biographies and contact information published
on the website and public roster.
Responsibilities
In order to gain these rights, members must:
- pay dues in the amount of $25 per
year, due no later than January 31st.
- attend a minimum of 3 meetings per
year, and
- provide service to the group in some
capacity as able throughout the course of the year. Service opportunities
could include helping with an educational event or another committee
as the needs arise.
