I am the mother to 3 children and a Certified Doula through DONA. I have had 3 very different experiences with childbirth: my first birth was medicated using narcotics; my second birth was pitocin-assisted using an epidural for pain relief; my third was a natural, non-medicated birth. These experiences along with a lifelong passion for birth are what led me to become a doula after my third child was born.

I am a volunteer through The Doula Connection because I believe that every woman has the right to be supported during childbirth.

Birth is such a life changing event for women that as your doula I will help try to make your ideal birth a reality. I will assist you in gathering information to make educated decisions and assist with making a birth plan. My services also include prenatal meetings, childbirth education as requested, continuous support during your birth experience, assistance with breastfeeding, postpartum visits and a birth story.
