Erin Cassidente, CD(DONA)

I have been interested in the birthing process and babies since I changed my first diaper at the age of seven and my passion has grown from there! I am married and the mother of two beautiful girls, ages 6 and 2. I completed my training in 2004 and am now certified as Birth Doula through DONA International. My personal experience with having a Cesarean section with my first birth and a successful natural VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) with my second birth have motivated me to assist other women and their partners in one of the most empowering and miraculous moments of their lives.

In the past I have worked with teenage mothers and their infants as a support group facilitator, been trained, certified and worked as a volunteer peer breastfeeding consultant for WIC in Virginia and worked as an in-home nanny. I currently assist in facilitating a C-section support group and a Parenting-Naturally group out of the Well-Rounded Maternity Center in Menomonee Falls, as well as substitute-teaching Bradley classes. I am an amateur photographer and am happy to capture your first moments with baby for you. I will chronicle your birth during the process and present you with a birth story.
