How can chiropractic support a newborn or older child?

Many spinal problems in adults begin in childhood. The birth process may be one of the most traumatic events of our lives. The resulting irritation to the nervous system can be the cause of many newborn health complaints. Colic, unexplained crying, difficulty breastfeeding, ear infections, and allergic reactions can often be traced to nervous system dysfunction caused by spinal misalignment. As a child grows, it is important to have spinal check-ups to detect small problems that may result from minor falls, poor posture, hours of playing video games or sports like gymnastics, soccer, and football. If left undetected, these misalignments may result in spinal problems as adults
