The C.A.R.E. Network is a membership
and referral organization dedicated to helping women and their families
have safe and satisfying births. We are united to provide a source
of information for parents seeking assistance with childbirth or the postpartum period, to promote and
support doulas, midwives and other natural birth professionals, and to provide
continuing education and enrichment for our members.
STATISTICS:
The C.A.R.E. Network is pleased
to release the data collected from our members since January 2001.
This is the first time we have collected data in this manner, and
are quite happy to see the difference that continuous labor support
makes on birth outcome.

The addition of a labor
support person to your birth, as well as taking a prepared childbirth
education course, makes a significant impact on your ability to achieve
the type of birth you want.
