With training in integrative and functional care for the childbearing year, I offer holistic midwifery for families planning a home birth. Complete prenatal care including lab work and ultrasounds are offered in-office. I serve an hour radius of my office in Thiensville, and see clients in satellite offices in Sheboygan and Oshkosh. In addition to primary care for pregnancy and birth, I also offer lactation support, and Mayan abdominal therapy for the discomforts of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
I have been in birth work since 1997, starting out as a doula and childbirth educator. In 2010, I completed my training to earn my Certified Professional Midwife credential and became a Licensed Midwife in Wisconsin shortly after. Studying with the Arvigo(r) Institute, I learned Mayan abdominal therapy in 2013 with advanced applications for pregnancy. My advanced training culminated in a training in Belize in 2017. I offer the therapy sessions for all of my birthing clients. I earned the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant credential in 2015, and all my clients benefit from my knowledge in supporting physiologic breast/chest feeding. My current area of study is integrative and functional support for women's health and will be incorporating that into my practice throughout 2021.
Fee information: I bill insurance and Badgercare for midwifery care; cash or credit cards for stand-alone services such as fertility consults, abdominal therapy sessions, lactation consults.
