Welcome Doulas, Midwives, Educators, Holistic Providers, and Photographers!
Working with families at any point in their childbearing year is important, dynamic, and fulfilling. It can also be an intense way of life that leaves us feeling the need for company and support. Since 1995, birthworkers in Southeastern Wisconsin have been gathering at monthly C.A.R.E. Network meetings to share information, camaraderie, education, affection, and encouragement to one another.
Due to COVID-19, we are currently meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at 7 pm CST on Zoom. We will continue these virtual meetings through 2021, and until it is safe to gather again in person. If you would like to join us for a monthly meeting, please check our Facebook page for more information. At that time, a new meeting place will be announced so that everyone who is interested has the opportunity to join us.
C.A.R.E. Network meetings have always been free to attend. In the past, yearly membership dues were collected from birthworkers who were committed to sustaining our group. In return for those dues, paid members were able to have information about their practices listed on our website for potential clients. At this time, we've suspended dues until we're able to meet in person again. We hope this will allow birthworkers to utilize our platform during this time of uncertainty and financial hardship.
