Birth Doula I am a DONA-trained birth and postpartum doula serving greater Milwaukee and about an hour's drive from there. I love working with all birthing parents and families, and bring a calm, encouraging, flexible, and intelligent approach to support your own wishes and circumstances. I am a doula because I have always been a helper throughout my life. I am a parent of three adult children, and spent my early career years in higher education, most notably as a student advisor. I also worked for several years as a public school library aide before turning to my career as a doula. In my doula work I love taking all my knowledge, skills, and personal traits and applying them to support each birth and each family in a meaningful, compassionate manner for your unique needs and desires. I seek out opportunities to further my training, and have dedicated myself to learning the best ways to support all persons of all ethnicities, sexual identities, and beliefs. Fee: $800 for labor support. $30 hourly for postpartum work.
